LET’S GET STARTED:
Always free consultations.
The Boughter Law Office is a statewide practice and always provides free at-home, hospital, telephonic, and/or in-office initial consultations. There are no attorney fees unless we make a recovery for you. During the consultation, the attorneys will review the facts of your personal injury, wrongful death or workers' compensation claim. In doing so, the attorneys will discuss the relevant law applicable to your case and advise you whether we will be able to assist you. Often times in complex cases, an investigation will be necessary to determine whether a claim is viable. The attorneys will further review the contingency fee agreement with you and answer any questions you have.
Once retained, we will discuss a strategy to resolve your case and maximize your recovery. We pride ourselves on educating our clients to know what to expect and are always here along the way to answer any questions or concerns have throughout the litigation process.
We take the worry out of the legal process.
In most cases, prior to filing a lawsuit, every effort is made to settle the case fairly and to make sure the insurance company treats you with respect. We will seek to recover compensation for all of your damages which may include medical bills, future medical care costs, lost wages, loss of earning capacity, loss of time, loss of enjoyment of life, pain and suffering, scarring, permanency of your injuries, and any other compensatory damages you may be entitled to under Indiana law.
Following a serious personal injury or wrongful death, the last thing that you or your family needs to worry about is dealing with an insurance company whose only goal is to pay you as little as they can. The Boughter Law Office takes the stress out of dealing with an insurance company on your own. This allows you to focus on what is most important—your health and well-being for you and your family.
We deal directly with the insurance company and will handle all aspects of your claim, including collecting certified copies of your medical records, billing, lost wages, etc. In some cases, we may retain independent medical experts, accident reconstructionists, economists, and a wide variety of other experts that may be needed to further establish or prove your claims. Once you are finished treating, and/or the claim is ripe for resolution, we will prepare a demand package to be sent to the insurance company in an effort to settle the claim. We will negotiate the best settlement possible, keeping you apprised along the way. Simply put, if the insurance company does not make a fair offer of settlement, we will file a lawsuit and litigate your case in court. We will never recommend you accept anything less than the fair value of your claim.
Aggressive representation inside and outside of the courtroom.
Low-ball settlement offers are not acceptable at the Boughter Law Office. Unfortunately, insurance companies have a proven track record of treating the injured unfairly. When they do, you can rest assured that the Boughter Law Office will aggressively represent and protect your interests inside and outside of the courtroom. A lawsuit can sometimes be a lengthy process; some cases resolving within several months and other cases lasting years. Never fear, however, the attorneys of the Boughter Law Office will be with you every step of the way. We are known to be tenacious and well-respected throughout the legal community. We prepare every case as if it were going to trial and will fight tirelessly in the courtroom in presenting your case to a jury of your peers.
The Boughter Law Office advances all costs associated with the litigation process, including filing fees, deposition fees, expert witness fees, and any costs associated with the discovery and trial process.
