Earlier this week, we shared some exciting Fall events happening in our local South Bend community. Today, we'd like to highlight a few events taking place in Fort Wayne in the upcoming weeks. Several events are little-to-no-cost and fun for the entire family. Here's a few you might want to mark down on your calendar:
Fright Night | October 15
Fort Wayne's annual Fright Night is taking place in Downtown Fort Wayne this coming weekend. This year's theme is a Zombie Walk, complete with limping, crawling, and staggering around. The all-day event will feature several activities such as the Old Fort Lantern Tours, a scavenger hunt, the Pumpkin Zone, and more. Visit the website for more information.
MaskZOOrade | October 26
The Fort Wayne Children's Zoo is fun for the whole family, but especially fun for adults over 21 on October 26th. Join in the fun for featured music, themed appetizers, and fun cocktails for those of legal drinking age. Visit the website for details on how to attend. Costumes are encouraged!
Howl O'Ween at Black Pine | October 29
This annual Halloween celebration takes place at Black Pine Animal Sanctuary and is family-friendly safe. Guests will enjoy a free horse-drawn wagon ride, seasonal decor, a bonfire, and refreshments. Costumes are optional, but trick-or-treating will be available. All proceeds help to fund the winter care of the animals.
