The American Trauma Society is a national leader in preventing injuries and trauma. May of each year has been designated as National Trauma Awareness Month by President Ronald Reagan and Congress in 1988. Since this time the American Trauma Society has worked with other trauma organizations to develop injury prevention and trauma awareness materials.

Around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, Fort Wayne police responded to a report of a crash on Maplecrest and Parrot.
